Today I'm loving:

Dear Prudence by The Beatles

Dear Prudence, won't you come out to play
Dear Prudence, greet the brand new day
The sun is up, the sky is blue
It's beautiful and so are you
Dear Prudence won't you come out to play

Dear Prudence open up your eyes
Dear Prudence see the sunny skies
The wind is low the birds will sing
That you are part of everything
Dear Prudence won't you open up your eyes?

Look around round round
Look around round round
Oh look around

Dear Prudence let me see you smile
Dear Prudence like a little child
The clouds will be a daisy chain
So let me see you smile again
Dear Prudence won't you let me see you smile?

Dear Prudence, won't you come out to play
Dear Prudence, greet the brand new day
The sun is up, the sky is blue
It's beautiful and so are you
Dear Prudence won't you come out to play

Wednesday Wonders

Via

It's been a pretty trying week, I must admit. BUT! Every cloud has a silver lining, and here are a few to share:

* Awesome walking! We're doing further distances every time we walk, and in better times too. Winner!

* The Doors! The club as well as the band. We spontaneously ended up there on Friday night and had the time of our lives! Simba, Mister Boo and I only left after 3am, and I could have gone longer if they'd been keen. Awesomeness! Randomness! Craziness! Licking posters of Jim Morrison and doing cleavage shots in front of them!

* Baking on Sunday! Cupcakes! And they're pretty and tasty!

* Feeling confident in my own skin (this one blows me away every time it happens!)

* Special friendships that go the distance, no matter what. (You know who you are, and I love you!)

* Aus anticipation. It's growing by the day!

* Planning a road trip that's going to include lots of make up, cosmos, balloons, randomness and kick-assery! WooT!

* Simon Baker (I think this is an off-shoot of the Aus anticipation, but regardless... OhmyGod!)

Oh my...

* Writing and planning stories. I've been writing every night for the last two weeks, and it's coming together beautifully! Also: one story spawning another, and then another! All unrelated, but the mind, she's working.

* Honest and open conversation that's serious and funny and enlightening and satisfying all at once

* Wedding Invitations from Aus! SOOO gorgeous! (8 and a half weeks! EEEEP!!!)

* Notes from the Universe totally lining up with my new vision and direction!

* Bella, the Mercedes of Maja Boo!

* Being prepared for Mercury Retrograde. Well, here's hoping, anyway...

* Only a few weeks till I see my sister and niece and meet the Mark! WooHoo!!

* Planning a 30 for 30 wardrobe challenge

* Marlboro Blue Ice cigarettes or whatever they are. No, I haven't started smoking again. One of the crazy llamas I hang out with does, and these particular shmigarellos have little balls in the filter that you pop and they're icy fresh. I could even smell it and I didn't touch it to my lips! haha!

* And, apparently, exclamation marks!!!!! I've just re-read this post, and it's riddled with them. What?! I'm loud! ;)

Little things which made me smile this week:

* Getting used to my new hair * Paisley * Crows and starlings * Random dreams * "Give me twenty minutes and I'll get him to make good noise!" * Awesome Mondays (!!!) * Laughing at random squarebacks at Doors * "Boo, will you sing to me on the way home?" * Fat Bastard * Writing * Feeling so happy I could scream * Tidying my desk at work (Now: Home office. Yes. Again.) * Paris. Still yearning! * U2 DVDs when there's nothing on TV * Robert Downey Jr. * The Cricket World Cup is almost over and the three teams I loathe are out! * Punctuation marks * "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore!" * Dancing all night at Doors with Just *

So, what's had you buzzing like a Honey Bee this week?

Fuck Yes!!!

That is all.

Do not go gently...

Since I was a little girl, I've had a bit of a thing about Elizabeth Taylor. Hers was one of the few pictures of women that graced my walls over the years (I was BIG on posters. In fact, I would plaster my walls from floor to ceiling, like wallpaper.) She was magnetic and beautiful and awe-inspiring in so many ways. And she had sass, which is probably the biggest reason I adored her!

My favourite Elizabeth Taylor movie also stars my eternal favourite leading man, Paul Newman: Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. I've seen it hundreds of times, and I never tire of it. The beauty and passion of that film always make me want to cry for some reason! (*rolls eyes* Yes, every now and then I'm a total chick! Still, if you're going to get sappy about something, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof is a pretty good thing, right? Right?!)

It's sad to think that there aren't really many true Hollywood giants left. All we have now is celebrity. YUCK! Give me stars! Give me talent! Give me grace and elegance and astounding ability and class! And give me just a pinch of scandal! I don't want to see people who are famous for the sake of fame! I don't want to see girls flashing their Guadala-somethings at the world every day, and falling down drunk and drugged and revolting.

*cough* So... in the spirit of celebrating the class and elegance of days gone by, and passing us by even more swiftly every day, I give you:

Wednesday Wonders

Source: Polyvore

It’s that time of the week again!

The past week has been pretty spectacular. Well, except for today, which has had a bit of a sour twist. And I don’t mean the smell of vinegar, which I’ve used to deter the ants from my bin.
All the same, there’s always something to be grateful for, and listing those things is a sure-fire pick-me-up. So, without further ado…

* Little girls in full Snow White gear, including the princess collar and crown, spelunking in the muddy puddles outside my office after an epic thunderstorm.

* Teenage girls on motorbikes. Who have gorgeous grunge style. And little sisters who are dressed like princesses, and look at them in awe. Had there been a thought bubble, it would have read: “When I’m big, I want to be just like you, sis!”

* Getting a whole lot done on Friday, when everyone else had gone home. It’s when there’s nobody here, the phones are quiet, the bleeding radio is off and I can play my own weird and twisted music that I’m most productive.

* A long weekend! Monday was Human Rights Day (Hence: no Monday Music. I was too hung-over. Fact. I’m sorry. ) We had a pretty hectic long weekend, but a fun one all the same. I’ll break it down by day, otherwise it will get a bit confusing. Trust me, I was looking at my note book thinking, ‘HUH?’
~ Saturday
: Went to the doc for a follow-up on my new tablets. And?
*drum roll, pleaseI’m down. Like 5.6 kgs down! *cue ticker tape*

: Had my hair done, and went for a big change! No more pink and purple! Now: shorter and darker! Also: purple and orange. (Not enough purple though, but it’s okay. Only six weeks and we can add more!) Also: I MISS MY PIIIIIINK! : Lunch with friends of Maja Boo. What a scream! : I finally bought a primer for my make up! I figured with my hair being so much shorter, there is even less room for flawed skin (of which I am the disgruntled owner). So… I’ll fake it!

: Impromptu rugby party with P-&-P. Even though BOTH my teams lost – miserably. At least there’s still hormonal value in the teams, regardless of whether they win or lose. In fact, when they lose, they need consoling.

I mean...

really...

COME ON!

~ Sunday
: I started making a bag for Nix, who is going overseas in April. She was looking for something sturdy, fun and big enough to easily put souvenirs and brochures and pamphlets in, along with the usual cameras and things. I started with my beautiful teal brocade, lined it and put a zip in. Et voila! (If only it was as easy as that! Just as well I find it therapeutic and calming, or I’d go out of my mind!)

: Lunch at Jax & MJ. How we laughed! What a cool day! It poured with rain for most of the afternoon and evening – the guys even had to abort the braai because they were trying to cook the meat in a monsoon – but it all turned out for the best. We had a delicious (Yes, really, Jax!) meal, and such a good time! We went for lunch, and got home not long before midnight. J

: The so-called ‘old aunties’ (who are neither old, nor do they behave like you would expect old aunties to behave) lambasted me for not writing more stuff more often. Not only here at Miss Boo, but in general. I promised I would focus on it more if I could. I had a dream that night that has led to a story formulating. Like, a proper story.

~ Monday
: Holiday!!! Sleeping in! Pizza for breakfast! Loud music! Comfy clothes!

: Bag-making, Part 2. See also: finishing Nix’s bag! Woohoo!!!

: Writing. And writing and writing and writing.

: Re-visiting old Glee episodes: Good idea. While doing my nails: Bad idea. Meh. *shrugs* You win some, you lose some.

* Walking double the distance we usually do and still feeling like a million bucks! I have the blisters and aching muscles to prove it. And the good news? We’re doing it all again tonight!

Little things that made me smile this week:

* Mister Boo’s randomness * Sleeping in * Calm in the face of sheer panic * Body confidence * My new haircut * “Bits and bytes and dust” * Avon Plum Gorgeous lipstick * Clear Matt top coat nail polish * Writing * Selling my first bag * 5.6 kgs people! For The Win!!! * Rugby * Crazy dreams. No, really. Batshit Crazy. * Janis Joplin Chuck Taylor All Stars. Oh. My. God. * Maja Boo’s new car, Bella! She’s gawjus! * Nirvana, to get me through the rough times * Hunter S. Thompson shirts * New header plans. Hopefully to stay for a long time. I think I've found what kind of defines me best now. I hope so! *

X

* Contrary to all the images of gorgeous men I post, I don't spend all of my time perving at these divine examples of testosterone. It is fun, though!

It's the Luck of the Irish...

... to have such talented, and often gorgeous, people representing them out in the world!

I give you a short list (click on the names for links):

Dolores O'Riordan
 : Singer - The Cranberries
 : Hair colour experimenter

Bob Geldof
: Activist, Actor (Pink Floyd's 'The Wall'), Singer - The BoomTown Rats, LiveAid
: Lover of unusual children's names

Roisin Murphy
 : Singer-songwriter - Solo, Moloko
: Lover of crazy hats and crazy fashion

Jonathan Rhys Meyers
 : Actor
: Happens to have an incredible singing voice, and sings a lot of his own stuff in his movies
: Considered going into the priesthood before 'making it' in the movies (I guess he would have been a perfect tool for converting masses of hormonal girls to Catholisism, though...)

Bless me father...

For I'm about to sin!

Liam Neeson
 : Actor
: Maja Boo's future husband... hands off!

All of U2
 : Infinitely amazing band.
 : Human rights activists

Daniel Day-Lewis
: I'm not sure I can even say anything about this guy without turning into a hyperventilating, hormonal teenager all over again. Just... *looks out the window dreamily* *suddenly starts blushing* Yup. That's all.

Oh...

my...
Colin Farrell
 : Actor
: Surprised everyone in 'A Crazy Heart' with his singing
: Donated his salary from 'The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus' to friend and co-star Heath Ledger's daughter
 : Notoriously badly-behaved

Granted, Ireland has also given the world war, hunger strikes, weird associations with potatoes and ... Shane MacGowan (look it up, I'm not going there!). Still... I prefer to focus on the positive.
Excuse me while I go and drool more at some terribly sexy people, while listening to astounding music.

La ta tee, da diddley dee, la ta tee ta tee da (St. Patrick's Day)

Ah, St Patrick’s Day. The feast day of St. Patrick, inspiration for the central character in countless “An Irishman walks into a bar…” jokes. Also, the inspiration behind this song.

Traditional celebrations of St. Patrick’s day include parades and parties, and sports festivals (mainly football and rugby, mainly in Ireland), and… well… drinking. LOTS of drinking. I think the good Saint would probably be less than impressed with that development, and all the craziness that goes with it, but hey… at least he’s being remembered, right? *

A few random facts you can use to impress your mates while you down your green Guinness:

* St Patrick is the most commonly recognised Patron Saint of Ireland.

* St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated on the anniversary of his death, unless it falls in the same week as Holy Week, in which case, it is celebrated either in the week before or after Holy Week.

* St. Patrick’s path to sainthood started when he was just 16. He was kidnapped and taken to Ireland to be a slave. He dreamed of God visiting him. In the dream, he was told to escape to the coast, where he would be rescued and taken back to Britain. Indeed, he was, and when he finally got back to Britain, he joined the Catholic Church. Years later he returned to Ireland as a bishop, on a mission to convert the still very Pagan Irish to Christianity. It is because of his teachings that the shamrock is associated with Ireland so strongly; he used it to explain the Christian Holy Trinity .

* Green (or grey, if you're colour-blind) is the colour most associated with St Patrick, although it wasn’t always. Originally, blue was the colour that came to mind when talking of St. Patrick. Most likely because of the use of the green shamrock in his teachings, people began wearing shamrocks on his feast day, and as an extension, the colour came to represent it.

* As Guinness says, “Everyone’s Irish on St. Patrick’s Day.” Loads of rivers and fountains are dyed green for the day. Even the White House fountain has been dyed green in the past few years!

So, what are you doing to celebrate the far reaching Irish touch of partying? I'm wearing green... a green top, green hair accessory, emerald shoes, green make-up. No time for green nail polish, though. Pity...

Despite the look on my face here, I haven't yet had any green beer.
* Just to be clear: I’m all for partying it up in green Irish style for St. Paddy’s - or for any reason, for that matter - but just be smart and safe about it, right. Don’t drive green! And don’t do anything that would put you in a position where ’Patrick’ would be a dark, twisted name for the result of your St. Paddy’s party.
There are plenty of cabs out there, there are plenty of people who are happy to party without drinking. Unless you’re planning to lament your green-tinged downfall with the saint in person on the other side, drive sober, or be driven by someone who is.

Wednesday Wonders

 And on time, to boot!

* Outrageous and courageous outfits again. It's also been a while since I've had enough confidence to play around with my clothes, so the last few weeks have been fun.

* Liking the way I look in photos! It's been a loooooong time since that's happened!

Ready for some really shocking pool playing!
You can actually see that there was no way I was going to pay enough attention to win, or even play well.

Looking a little more sophisticated. Also: I made that belt!

* Playing pool with fabulous people. Sucking at it (again), but not caring. Taking over the jukebox instead. Smuggling Hanson into the playlist, just to see the look on the boys' faces. FTW!

* Walking! Now with added awesome! Dinee is joining Mister Boo and I for our walks a couple of times a week now, starting today, and it's gonna be crazy! Who knows what randomness will ensue!?!

* Finishing another notebook! I've had a double volume notebook (read: 2x A5 192 pg hardcover notebooks glued together) since about November, and I used the last page on Monday night! I love notebooks; I collect them, and no two are alike. As much as I love the feeling of a new, blank book just aching to be filled with ideas and notes, it's always a nostalgic farewell when I use the last page of an old one. That notebook, in particular, has been through the wars with me - it's been in my hands at gigs, parties, psychotic meltdowns and blissfull epiphanies, and is filled with secrets; dreams; aspirations; twisted stories, lyrics and poems; ideas and dodgy sketches. But now, there's a new one calling me.

* Deja vu! Again! Ha!

* Finishing another story. Well... sort of. I've finally finished the first draft of a story that's been in the making for quite a while now... since around September last year. And bear in mind, this is just a short story, nothing novel-like about it! It's been a very intense and revealing process, and I'm not sure it's one I would ever make public, but it's been a wonderful experience. Finishing the first draft was like saying goodbye to a lover; editing, I think, will be like looking back at the snapshots from the time spent together.

* Crazy hair plans! I'm seeing my darling Nicky on Saturday - not a moment too soon, either! - and have some changes in mind. Nothing too extreme, mind you. There will still be outrageous colour and ridiculous cutting! But I've grown a bit weary of the pink-and-purple combination (I've had it since December, so it's DEFINITELY time for a change)! Can't wait for it to be done, so I can show it off!

* My visa's been approved! Did ya hear that, Stephy?! I'M COMING TO AUSTRALIAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! (Okay, I'm sure half of Sydney just groaned in dread, but the rest of you? Hit me up with venue ideas for bachelorettes and raucous nights out! And cheap shopping. Always cheap shopping.) Now... to find someone in Sydney who will tattoo me... *strokes chin ponderously*

* Rain. Eternally. Because it allows outfits like this:

Also: Beanies. Also: Scarves. Also also: Snoods!

* Seeing people who make me smile for no reason other than that I'm sure I'd like them if I knew them. Those people coming inside to ask a strange and random question about ampersands. Those same people saying that they're glad they met me because when they saw me they were sure they would like me, and they did. Both getting goosebumps when I say that the exact same thought had just crossed my mind.

* Maja Boo is getting a new car! WooHoo for her! Also: Arse-kick for us to finally - finally - get our drivers licences. (Or to try again, anyway.)

* Thinking of adding a short list of loathes to this feature, and promptly forgetting about it and/or losing the list. Yes Universe, I prefer gratitude too!

Little things that made me smile this week:

* Purple Wonder (more on this later) * Sinking on the white ball in three consecutive pool games, in especially wonderous fashion. See: skip white ball over three other balls, at a precarious angle, and landing it straight in the pocket without a single bounce * "Do you see bats?" "Yes!" "Then you're in the right place!" * Sharing a story with La and getting exceptionally positive (and blush-inducing) feedback * Feeling real, genuine laughter and excitement * Having awesome green shoes to wear for St Paddy's tomorrow! Can't wait to debut them! * Recalculating! * Finally getting rid of that cursed ingrown toenail which has plagued me for almost a month. The elation I feel equals the grossness of the concept. It's like I want to share because I'm so happy, but I know people will cringe. Still... * AC/DC car-mosh-pits at 2am in the McD's parking lot. See also: terrifying a group of squarebacks (jocks) with car-most-pit so badly that they piled into their car and left after the first chorus! * Sketching, painting, crafting * Watchmen * My first proper handbag order! * Laughter. Again. Just... laughter. There is never enough, and we need it now, more than ever. * 99 Red Balloons * The new header that my darling Dinee designed for me! *

So, what's had you hooting and howling this week?

Dear... Awesome Lunch

In which I write letters to inanimate objects, food and drinks, events, famous people and more random subjects than even I can anticipate.

Wow. You were spectacular today. I mean, of course, that means I was pretty smart too, but the way you came together like that... wow. How could I have predicted that a little cous-cous, a few strips of pan-seared chicken in garlic and olive oil, some diced red pepper, a teaspoon of melted peanut butter and a squirt of sweet chili sauce would have come together and mixed up quite so beautifully? That... *licks lips again* was all you. And what a mix! We'll be getting together soon for more of this magic!

Devastation...

In light of the gratitude posts that have taken up most of my blog space recently, I feel that this is something that needs a post of its own.

I'm grateful for not being the victim of the numerous natural disasters which have plagued our fragile planet in the last year or so (I know it's been longer, but it does seem to be more frequently recently, right?) I'm definitely water sign so, despite the rough, tough and loud exterior, I'm a real softie at heart, and things like the earthquake and tsunami in Japan today (11.3.11) just leave me on the verge of tears. The turmoil of the water results in turmoil within us water signs too, I think.

At this stage, I haven't been able to find information on who is sending immediate aid to Japan and the other Pacific countries affected by this tragedy. However, I do know that Doctors Without Borders is as excellent an organisation as any of the others out there. I try and make regular donations to them, more than anything because I believe in what they do and I know that if I was qualified, I would probably be live my dad's worst nightmare and become on of them.

I'm sure that in the next few hours and over the weekend, the true horror of what has happened will reveal itself. If you are there, or have loved ones who have been affected, I am sending hope and light in your direction. If you can't afford to donate anything to any of the aid agencies heading there in the next few days, I'm sure you can spare some love, light, hope and even prayers, if that's your thing, for the victims and their loved ones.

It seems that what our mothers told us as kids is true... It's a scary world out there. Take care, wherever you are.

Wednesday Wonders

Source

...on a Thursday. Again. Crap. I have to get my A into G in time next week!

* SALES! Clearly my test to see if I could go a whole month without shopping is a big fat FAIL this month! I shall try again next month though, and see if I can do it then! (I better! I have a trip to save for! Woohoo!!)

* New stuff! I have picked up some really sweet stuff and at really really sweet prices! A pair of shorts (!!!) for R150.00; a kaftan marked down from R350.00 to R160.00, a blue skirt I have been secretly coveting for almost a year now for R135.00... and a stunning pair of emerald pumps for R150.00! Yay for sales! But... enough now. Dinee and I have decided that next time we 'go out' for lunch, we'll just go park in the basement at Montecasino and yak, because it's cheaper and less sweaty!

* Half moon manicure. Which photographs really badly. I saw a tutorial online a few weeks back on The Cherry Blossom Girl on how to do a half moon manicure, and how to jazz it up. I've been dying to try it for a while now, and finally got all the materials to do it, and it came out really nicely (the second time I tried it, anyway! ha!)

* Fuck Yeah Girls With Short Hair! I've been looking for something new and funky to do to my hair for a while now - would you believe I've grown bored of bright pink and purple?! - and I found this site in my searches. Je l'adore!

* Enjoying listening to something other than Nick Cave for the first time in a long time. *gasp* I know, I can't quite believe it either, but hey... it was Nirvana, which kind of makes it alright... right?

* With apologies to everyone I didn't reply to on Saturday and Sunday... Being completely underground all weekend! We were supposed to be on a team-building weekend last weekend, but it was cancelled at pretty much the last minute. I decided to neglect to tell anyone, and just hid out all weekend! I felt kinda guilty for the first half an hour after waking up at not-the-crack-of-dawn, and after that... I just revelled in it! I sewed for the first time in aaaages! I made a stunning - STUNNING bag and an obi belt of the same Chinese brocade fabric. *heart flutters* I read. I actually sat down and read, which I haven't had time to do in aaaages either! We just chilled out and watched movies! I made a day planner, sort of following Kyla Roma's guidelines{Part 1} {Part 2}! Also: I nursed an ingrown toenail all weekend and into this week, so it's probably just as well that I wasn't flailing along a flimsy cable on a canopy tour in the Midlands.

* Catching up on sleep. It really is a spectacular concept, and when you get to put it into action...? HARK! ANGELS!

* Getting excited for Aus, despite my fear of flying and watching far too much Border Patrol. Keeping my fingers crossed for my visa!

* The Lions playing so much better in the Super 15!!! New coach, new players, injection of funds, and suddenly - without their old captain, who lead them like the blind - they're playing like a team again! Go Lions! Go!

* Across the Universe. Always.

* Wedding photos! Dinee has posted the first batch of our wedding photos on her photography blog! I'm SO excited! I HAVE to show you! Click here to see {Part 1} of the sheer awesomeness!

Little things that have made me smile this week:

* Feeling kinda bouncy. Long may it last! * Texts from my husband that contain nothing but randomness * Plotting and scheming * Walking almost every day now after work, and planning to do it with Dinee too * Noticing the difference in my clothes, and buying smaller sizes with confidence that they'll fit * Slightly mixing up my make up routine and feeling better for it * BRIGHT COLOURS * Small triumphs * Being genuinely happy for people with no false smiles or jabs of jealousy * Paw paw with honey and lemon juice for brekkie (This coming from someone who would literally groan in disgust at paw paw only a year ago - wtf body?!) * Suddenly... awesome music on the radio. In the last two days, I've heard: Seether, The Springbok Nude Girls (who are releasing a new album this year! WooHoo!), The Offspring, Jack Johnson, Johnny Cash (!) and more! * That bag up there is from Big Blue (anyone wanna get it for me?!) *

Well, that's me this week! Has yours been spectacular or sh...oddy?  Let me know!

Today it's TiLT

Source Unknown

So I didn’t manage to do a Wednesday Wonders list yesterday, because by the time I got home, I was absolutely exhausted! It was a highly hectic, but mostly satisfying day.
On to the things that I’ve loved in the past week:

* New (still-secret) plans

* Shopping with focus

* My new big floppy black felt hat that is simultaneously wonderously witchy and beautifully bohemian

* Knowing, despite the still very warm weather, that autumn has officially begun, and once we get through the wind next month, I can crack open the winter wardrobe in all its glory!

* Clear, fresh skies on early Saturday morning walks

* Walking almost every day and noticing the difference in my body and wardrobe, both in how they look and how they feel

* Spending a good portion of Wednesday walking from appointment to appointment and feeling fit. Also: cheesily cosmopolitan

* Spending a whole extra day with Mista Boo! Yay!

* Wardrobe clean-outs and re-organising (this is a work in progress, but so far, it’s made a huge difference to how I’m dressing!)

* 2 impromptu braais in one weekend with equally awesome people

* Australia plans! Leave’s been approved, Visa application is in! Now to sit back and plan this party!

* Not letting the frustrations that faced us yesterday (being sent to the wrong place to do our learners – again – and having to run around more than planned for my Visa application)

*I’m still kinda digging the new-ish Kings of Leon, Pyro (* beep * beep * beep* Hidden Hipster Alert! * beep * beep * beep *)

* Mila Kunis’ Oscar dress.

Source
Can we just talk about this for a second? This girl is just hit after hit after hit. Even her so-called ‘duds’ rock my world! But that lilac dream-dress… It was, in my humble opinion, the best dress of the night. Who would have thought snarky little Jackie from That 70’s Show would clean up so well?

* Trying to teach myself to be more patient and not be so quick to take up snappy words and looks. This too is a work in progress.

Little things that made me smile this week:

* Finding the perfect phrase for a tattoo… From 90210 – ha! * Being taken aback by Jude Law’s gorgeous accent in the car on the way to work … Oh my! * Gorgeous men behaving like excited shy little boys * "Friends to the power of awesome!" * Still planning my tattoo-masterpiece * Being most productive and creative in the early morning and late at night. I just can’t do the middle of the day. That should be my sleep time! * Getting our office gleaming and tidy, just waiting to be put to work again * Sister time! * New tablets! Yay! * Drops of Jupiter by Train (Yes, still. I’ll never get over that song.) * Stealing kisses in random places, like FNB in Rosebank, Randburg Licensing Dept. and the Australian Visa Application Centre * Walking around my city and feeling a part of it again * Letting go of drama * Quietly testing how long I can go without shopping for stuff I don’t need * Lying on Maja Boo’s bed and planning what we’re going to do when we win the Lotto * Seeing my new year’s (r)evolutions happening every day * Not actually wanting to live in a cluttered environment anymore. Now to get down to actually de-cluttering… Gah! *

What made you grin like a grizzly bear with a fresh salmon this week? Share in the comments!

Boo! ~~~ "To Do Today"

One of my favourite bands, unrelated to the 'Miss Boo' brand (easily distinguished by the '!' in the band name, lacking in mine), I am KERAYZEEE about this song and this band and this video! LOVE!

Happy Tuesday!
